Bio
Doug Masters is a retired professional wrestler known for his charismatic heel persona, territory-era
storytelling, and championship success throughout NWA Pacific Northwest, USWA, and WWC Puerto
Rico. Respected for his dedication, honesty, and ability to preserve the history of professional wrestling,
Doug has become a sought-after guest on podcasts and interviews where he shares stories from a
remarkable career spanning decades.
Today, through podcast appearances and conversations with fans, Doug is passing along the lessons,
experiences, and knowledge he gained throughout his wrestling journey. His commitment to the business
and his ability to remember and share wrestling history make him a true ambassador for the profession
and one of the great "old-timers" still helping others understand the business
One of the first lessons Doug shared was the importance of the number three. In wrestling, it takes a
three-count to win and three counts to lose. In baseball, three strikes and you're out. These simple lessons
became powerful reminders about commitment, accountability, and finishing what you start. Now
retired from active competition, Doug continues sharing these insights through podcast appearances,
helping preserve wrestling's history while passing valuable life lessons on to future generations
